University of Maryland Schools of Medicine and Social Work and the Family Center at Kennedy Krieger Institute received a $2.4 million Substance Abuse Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) grant through the National Child Traumatic Stress Initiative to continue the work of the FITT Center established in 2007. Together with local and national partners, the FITT Team develops, evaluates and disseminates new family trauma interventions:
